Committee Meetings |
Following feedback from the members, the communication from the meetings i.e, the minutes need be available to the members following each meeting. The committee agreed to make more efficient use of the website and will send future minutes of meetings through to FD to enable them to be uploaded onto the website and available for all members to see. All future minutes will be available within one week of the meeting being held. ChT will also produce a mid season summary to send out to all members and will put a copy up in the "Tank" for all members to read. |

AGM – South East Hants Indoor League: The club received a fine for non attendance. RT has confirmed that the fine has now been paid, £20.00 ChT will liaise with our representative for the club to establish whether they attended and will re-claim the fine if appropriate. BMCC – Subs: Captains now have the opportunity to pay subs on line. RT has supplied the details of all members that have outstanding subscriptions to the club. All Captains to follow up with all relevant players and report back directly to RT. RT confirmed that there is approximately £1000 outstanding from players. It has been brought to the attention of the committee that some players may be experiencing financial difficulties and the committee has agreed to review these at an individual level. RT will prepare further reports with a prediction for forthcoming expenditures to be discussed in September ahead of the AGM planned for November. |

CRB’s - update next meeting all committee members need to be completed and sent off prior to the next meeting. Code of Conduct – now on display in the "Tank" for all members and players. Can all players/members please familiarise themselves of the code of conduct and the BMCC ethos. We are all ambassadors of the club and our conduct should be positive before, during and after all games. Awaiting Level 1 Coaching details. Player Profile forms for under 18’s are now with all captains for them to be completed as appropriate. Captains to confirm to TC that all details have been completed accordingly. Health & Safety: Player injuries: Recording of accidents to be carried out for all future homes games. Two books to be made available for recording any accidents. One to be held at Bidbury, the second to be held at Hollybank. The information to be recorded is to be double checked and confirmed in each book.. RT to confirm details required. Captains to ensure that any accidents are recorded. In case of Emergency Details: (ICE) – Numbers to be retained by captains to ensure that contact can be made as necessary should accidents occur. Captains to include this information on their general paperwork at the start of each game. First Aid Kits: Items to be sourced and refilled. |

Issues still with stock/and housekeeping at the "Tank". Better communication within the committee for re-stocking of refreshments. All members/Players to please use the bins provided and not throw rubbish on the floor. All captains/members/players are asked to please take pride in the upkeep, cleaning and to leave the facilities clean and tidy. |

Presidents Day – 24/07/2011 JH – working on the team and guests and will be inviting players to join his team. Claire H has volunteered to score, one other score and umpires to be confirmed. GQ – has volunteered will run the bar facilities Current Prizes: Raffle Prizes – Any donations greatly received Presentation Evening – one pair tickets donated Free Annual Subs Blackout Quick Tea @ the half way point The day will start at 12 noon, Cricket will commence at approx 12.30. Food will be available to purchase after the game. BBQ – Menu: Burgers £1.50 each Hotdogs £1.00 each Both served with mixed salad, potato salad & coleslaw Members to contribute salad items TC – Pot Salad ChT - Salad JH - Onions RT - Coleslaw Burger / Tom sauces to be purchased. CH to provide a quote for supplying the meat. Event details to be uploaded to website and sent out to the members. TC to produce poster for website. RT to send to members. |

Indoor league: All players need to be fully paid up members of the club subscriptions to qualify for selection into the indoor league. Kwik Cricket – BH has asked if he can borrow the set for an event on July 17th for the Southdown Musical Society event. All agreed – RT to email Bob directly. Some members have requested plastic plates and additional beakers to be available at the portacabin. It was agreed that additional beakers would be purchased, however paper plates will continue to be used for players for teas. Presentation Evening: All push to sell tickets – these will be available on Presidents day. Minutes to be distributed 07/07/2011 |
